I am involved heavily in all of the Yoga world, the Gymnastics world, and the Circus and Performing world. Below gives a very brief background.
Handstand and Flexibility/Contortion International Performer and Teacher
I have been fortunate enough to have performed at so many beautiful events all over the UK and the world, including the Maldives, Seychelles, a tour of Bolivia, and events n over 30+ different countries. I have also performed in an ALW West End Show, and have appeared across the media such as in Harrods Magazine. I continue to perform today at all types of events, launches, and parties. I am always very grateful to be able to share the beauty of contortion and handbalance through my performances and photoshoots.
I teach 1:1 and group classes in London in Handbalance and in Flexibility and Contortion.
Gymnastics Teacher and Geek
When my mum took me to my first gymnastics class at the tender age of about 6 or 7 then I think she thought it would just be a childhood hobby. It became a lifelong passion and a big part of my life. I competed in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics and Acrobatic Gymnastics. When I retired from competition I became a gymnastics coach. I have since taught in various big gymnastics centres across the UK and alongside several High Performance Coaches. I currently teach at NE London Gymnastics Club.
I am a qualified British Gymnastics L2 coach in both Womens Artistics, General, and Acrobatic Gymnastics. I also am a qualified judge (cycle 14) in Womens Artistic and Acrobatic Gymnastics.
Yoga Practitioner and Teacher
In 2009 I went to my first yoga class. I went for no other reasons other than I have a congenital knee condition and thought yoga would be good for me. Practice and all is coming… My reasons for going to yoga have morphed over the years, from being purely the asana limb, to incorporate all of the other limbs of yoga. How yoga has helped me with issues mind and body is unparalleled and today I really value my daily yoga practice, and how yoga has improved my way of thinking about many things. I am a qualified 200hr Ashtanga+Vinyasa Teacher.
I currently teach vinyasa yoga classes, as well as inversion classes and workshops for yoga practitioners.

2.1 BSc (hons) Physiotherapy: Leeds Metropolitan University
I have a 2.1 BSc (hons) Physiotherapy degree from Leeds Metropolitan University (Now Leeds Beckett University). I no longer practice physiotherapy (performing took over), but I have a vast interest in anatomy and biomechanics and relating these to everything that i do and that i teach. I am also very interested in hypermobility both symptomatic and asymptomatic.
My teaching methods involve looking at the person as an individual, and breaking down moves and skills to suit the individual’s level of development. I am not always able to offer quick fixes or magic dust, but I will help individuals to fulfil their maximum potential at a pace that allows healthy development and that suits them best.
‘Learn from everyone, follow no-one, look for patterns, work like hell’ Scott McCloud
To name all of my teachers would be difficult because I have have learnt from so so many wonderful and influential people over so many years, if i singled people out my list would still be so so long. What I would like to say is that every single person who has taught me, and every piece of advice that they given to me, is extremely gratefully received. I have been so fortunate to learn from many high performance gymnastics coaches, world class handbalancers, and amazing yoga teachers. I never claim to know everything, I am constantly seeking to update and improve on my existing knowledge. I continue to learn today from everybody that i meet, and my own continued professional development through research and education. Learning is lifelong. I give thanks to everyone that crosses my path and from whom I learn such valued knowledge.
